Be brutally honest and acknowledge your specific personal weaknesses. Then surround yourself with the right people to balance those weaknesses with their own specific strengths.

You can’t do it all by yourself, so hire the best people that your business can afford. Trust the team’s knowledge and collective wisdom.

If you build your business around your own strengths and talents, you will have a far greater chance for success.

Do not attempt to copy your competitors or other successful people. Gary Vaynerchuk, the legendary and inspiring entrepreneur, millionaire Angel Investor and Associated Press best-selling author said, “A penguin cannot become a giraffe, so just be the best penguin that you can be.”

Do what you know, know what you do and make sure you know what not to do.
